LENZ (we/us) collects personal information from you, including your:

- contact information
- current employer
- employment history
- relevant tertiary qualification/s
- interactions with us
- billing information
We collect your personal information in order to provide member services to you.
We share some of your information with the LENZ Council and your local LENZ branch committee, and may share it with:
- New Zealand Law Society (NZLS) if you are eligible for or hold associate membership of NZLS
- NZLS Property Law Section (and other relevant NZLS sections) for communications related to section membership and events offered
- NZLS CLE Ltd for communications related to the biennial Legal Executives Conference and for other educational events offered by them
- The Law Association Inc for publication of your name, LENZ level and employer in the New Zealand Lawyers Directory
- The Law Association for communications related to educational and social events offered by them
- Other professional and marketing agencies that we believe may benefit you
- Any disciplinary body under the Lawyers and Conveyancers Act 2006.
Providing some information to us is optional. If you choose not to provide your home contact details we'll be unable to contact you if you change employment and overlook letting us know, or fall behind in your membership/registration renewals.
We take all reasonable steps to keep your information protected in accordance with relevant legislation and regulations.
